The aNueNue Bird 1K Series is built from all solid AA Hawaiian Koa, carefully air-dried and seasoned for years before production. Over time, the wood matures and opens up, developing a warmer, more complex tonal character.

Constructed with traditional fan bracing, the Bird 1K delivers a sweet, balanced tone with pleasant overtones, making it ideal for both strumming and fingerstyle ukulele players. Hawaiian koa’s natural figuring and colors—ranging from golden blonde to auburn red and deep chocolate brown—make each instrument visually stunning and unique.

Premium details include a Spalted Maple Rosette, Mahogany Binding, and a Hawaiian Koa Headplate with Mother-of-Pearl Logo. Outfitted with Gotoh UPT tuners (1:4 gear ratio), a Rosewood Fingerboard & Bridge, and a Buffalo Bone Nut & Saddle, the Bird 1K ensures accurate intonation, resonance, and stability.
